The hospital’s newest imaging features include the region’s first interventional radiology room, a state-of-the-art digital X-ray room that uses the picture archiving and communication system and its newest nuclear medicine camera that has three-dimensional image resolution, the release said.

Last year, UHS Binghamton’s imaging department received accreditation for CT and nuclear medicine from the American College of Radiology, and part of the new center’s funding came from the UHS Foundation.
