Two systems were recognized by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in this year’s BeRAD Professionalism Award.
The award recognizes health systems, hospitals, imaging centers, clinics and other facilities where medical imaging technologists and radiation therapists demonstrate a culture of professionalism.
This year, two systems were recognized:
- Mount Sinai Health System Department of Radiation Oncology (New York City)
- The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (Columbus)
“This award reflects the dedication, compassion, and teamwork that define our Radiation Oncology program,” Kenneth Rosenzweig, MD, professor and chair of the department of radiation oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, said in an April 9 system news release. “Our radiation therapy team is committed not only to delivering the most advanced cancer treatments, but also to ensuring that every patient feels seen, supported, and cared for throughout their journey. This recognition affirms the culture we’ve built together.”
