Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Northside Hospital Gwinnett has opened a new interventional radiology suite with advanced CT technology.

Located in the hospital’s new tower, the suite houses two procedure rooms connected by a movable CT scanner, enabling real-time diagnostics and interventional care, according to a March 9 news release. The setup supports image fusion and laser guidance to enhance accuracy during procedures.

The expanded layout doubles the hospital’s procedural, prep and recovery room capacity, allowing the radiology team to care for more patients while offering advanced image-guided treatments, the release said.
