The center, which includes an outpatient laboratory and radiology services, will now be known as Fairfield Medical Diagnostic Services at River View. In the past year, FMC contracted with the imaging center for lab work and imaging tests.

The purchase comes more than one year after FMC’s $8.5 million acquisition of River View Surgery Center, which is located in the same building as the imaging center.

In 2011, FMC also purchased Fairfield Diagnostic Imaging for $1 million.
