Coral Gables, Fla.-based Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care has added nine interventional radiology physicians to Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute.
The group includes Constantino Peña, MD, who will serve as system chief of interventional radiology, according to an April 17 system news release. The expansion is aimed at strengthening minimally invasive care and expanding treatment options for vascular and oncologic conditions.
The physicians will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the institute to support coordinated care and increase access to advanced outpatient procedures. Leaders said the additions are intended to expand interventional radiology capabilities and improve access to image-guided treatments across South Florida, the release said.
