2 health systems acquire radiology groups

Two health systems have recently expanded outpatient imaging capabilities and services through acquisitions of private radiology practices.

The acquisitions are as follows:

  1. Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health affiliate Trinity Medical WNY, also based in Buffalo, has acquired private radiology practice Seton Imaging, according to an Aug. 26 news release.

    Dane Franklin, system director of imaging services for Catholic Health, will oversee operations at the practice, which is now providing care under the name Trinity Imaging Services.
  1. Fayetteville, N.C.-based Cape Fear Valley Health has acquired private radiology practice Valley Regional Imaging, according to an Aug. 26 news release.

    The practice will now operate as Cape Fear Valley Outpatient Imaging Center.
