St. Clair Hospital, Highmark Reach New Multiyear Deal

St. Clair Hospital and health insurer Highmark, both based in Pittsburgh, have signed a new multiyear reimbursement contract.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, nor was a specific duration of the contract. Patients that have Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield plans will now have in-network access to St. Clair Hospital and its outpatient centers.

Highmark and 328-bed, independently operated St. Clair Hospital have been in contract negotiations since February, according to a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report.
