ZDoggMD delivers holiday-themed ‘It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Sepsis’ music video

Physician-turned rapper ZDoggMD dropped a new holiday-themed video just before Christmas. The tune is a three-minute parody of “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and is aimed at reminding patients and clinicians alike about the danger of the life-threatening condition sepsis.

ZDoggMD rhymes his way through a list of the symptoms to be on the lookout for, corresponding treatments and the importance of catching sepsis early on.

True to form, ZDoggMD also takes a moment in the video to slam EHRs with lyrics about how entering the myriad tests and procedures required to diagnose sepsis and keep it under control can require an hour of clicking, all before the computer system simply freezes.
