Top 45 hospitals patients would definitely recommend

The following hospitals have the highest proportion of patients who reported yes, they would definitely recommend the hospital, according to their HCAHPS survey results.

The data is from CMS' Hospital Compare website and was collected between July 2013 and June 2014. For reference, the national average rate of hospital recommendation is 71 percent, according to Hospital Compare.

The following hospitals had at least 92 percent of patients say yes, they would definitely recommend the hospital. Notably, many are surgical hospitals.

Note: Hospitals with fewer than 100 completed patient surveys were excluded from the data sorting process.
