Each year, the ACSI surveys roughly 70,000 consumers about products and services across 10 economic sectors, including healthcare.
Consumer satisfaction with the healthcare sector as a whole increased 1.9 percent this year to an ACSI score of 80, the highest in nearly 20 years of measurement. Outpatient services received the highest satisfaction score (83), and emergency services received the lowest score (70).
