A wellness program was implemented for employees at the engineering firm Woodard & Curran. One year after implementation, employees were eating significantly more fruits and vegetables and getting 50 percent more exercise every week than they did prior to the wellness program.
Employees also demonstrated fewer hospital and emergency department visits as well as dramatically improved job satisfaction, productivity and morale.
