The study used a sample of 1,000 cancer patients and 1,000 caregivers who received treatment at hospitals across the country. Additional findings include:
- 25 percent of patients and caregivers were not satisfied with care received.
- Psychological counseling was rated the largest factor in overall satisfaction.
- More that two-thirds of respondents said having an individual to coordinate their care was important to them.
