The two-day Antimicrobial Stewardship Research Workshop is in its second year. SHEA convenes the workshop in collaboration with Infectious Disease Society of America, Pediatric Infectious Disease Society and Society of Infectious Disease Pharmacists. An unrestricted grant from Merck & Co. helps fund the event.

The workshop aims to help healthcare professionals design, deploy and evaluate antibiotic stewardship interventions. It also reinforces the investigative standards to design, implement and assess research projects.
