“Red Box” Duct Tape Strategy May Help Drive Down Costs, Improve Patient Safety

A Midwestern health system saved thousands of hours and $110,000 a year by creating a “Red Box” created with red duct tape to facilitate communication with patients on isolation for infections, according to a news release from the Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology.
