Of those polled, 69 percent said the law hasn’t had an impact on them, showing little change from the 70 percent who said the same in response to a February 2012 survey. Nineteen percent said the law has hurt them and their family, up from 16 percent in February 2012. Additionally, the number of those who say the healthcare reform law has helped them is down to 9 percent from 12 percent last year, according to Gallup.
Despite the lack of effect for most Americans so far, Gallup found 41 percent believe the law will make their healthcare situation worse in the future, up from 38 percent in early 2012. Meanwhile only 20 percent think it will make their situation better, down from 24 percent last year.
