Indiana University Health Acquires Central Indiana Cancer Centers

Indianapolis-based Indiana University Health has acquired Central Indiana Cancer Centers, according to an Indianapolis Business Journal report.

As part of the deal, which closed June 1, IU Health acquired the oncology group’s five facilities. The physicians will remain independent but have signed a service agreement with IU Health. The physicians will also help develop cancer care guidelines for IU Health’s facilities across the state, according to the report.  

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
