The bill reauthorizes funding for the following programs through 2106: the Hospital Preparedness Program, the Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals, the Medical Reserve Corps and other critical preparedness activities, according to the report.
The bill was passed unanimously and now must be reconciled with the U.S. House of Representatives’ version of the bill.
