ER Visits in Iowa Hospitals Increase Due to Wintry Weather

Emergency room visits at Saint Luke’s Hospital and Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, have increased due to dangerous weather conditions, according to a KCRG report.

ER visits last Monday increased by 25 at Mercy Medical Center; Saint Luke’s is seeing a similar trend. This spike is in part due to slippery roads, sidewalks and driveways, according to the report.
