Cleveland Clinic Names Dr. Robert Wyllie Chief Medical Operations Officer

Cleveland Clinic has named Robert Wyllie, MD, chief medical operations officer, effective April 11, according to a Plain Dealer report.

Dr. Wyllie will be responsible for more than 1,700 staff in supply chain, transport services and other critical departments.

He currently serves as institute chair of the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital. He also serves on Cleveland Clinic’s board of governors and on the board of trustees for the Clinic’s Fairview and Lutheran hospitals, both in Cleveland.

Dr. Wyllie replaces Marc Harrison, MD, who became CEO of Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
