Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital (Garfield Heights, Ohio).In 2012, Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital opened a LEED Gold-certified surgery center featuring increased water efficiency, energy savings and improved air quality. Marymount Hospital also has an active green team of more than 20 caregivers representing an array of departments who focus on sustainable practices for the hospital, including implementing a pharmaceutical waste system and a clinical plastics recycling program. Practice Greenhealth recognized the hospital in 2017 for advancements in Greening the OR with a Greenhealth Emerald Award.
