CDC releases guidance for Enterovirus-stricken hospitals

 

The Centers for Disease Control and prevention has released short guidance for hospitals dealing with potential outbreaks of enterovirus D68.

The guidance includes information on the virus and the scope of the outbreak, information on limiting transmission and monitoring outbreaks, and advice how and when to involve the CDC in a suspected outbreak.
