The focuses of the panels will be: Addressing Disparities; Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options; Improving Healthcare Systems; and Patient Engagement.
The goal of the panels is to advise PCORI on its research priorities and patient engagement efforts, and provide ongoing feedback. The members were selected late last month, and represent patients, researchers, clinicians, payors, policymakers, healthcare systems, purchasers and pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostic manufacturers.
