A free guide to preventing venous thromboembolism is available from the Health Research and Educational Trust, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association.
The guide was developed by Cynosure Health in December 2012 for the HRET Hospital Engagement Network, which is part of CMS' Partnership for Patients initiative.
