The “Guide to Hand Hygiene Programs for Infection Prevention” is designed as a primer for new infection prevention professionals or non-infection prevention colleagues who want to understand more about hand hygiene programs.

The guide provides an overview of hand hygiene programs’ key components. Topics include regulatory oversight and public reporting, hand hygiene products, hand hygiene monitoring and strategies for behavior change.
