Patient safety tool: AHA, AMA, APIC flu resources

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, American Medical Association and the American Hospital Association are “united against the flu” and released several resources in honor of National Influenza Vaccination Week, running Dec. 7-13.

Available resources included infection prevention e-cards and informative articles on why to not delay getting the flu shot and how parents and families can partner to prevent the flu in younger children, among others.
