University of Michigan Health System Now Publishes Patient Safety Data on Website

University of Michigan Health System, based in Ann Arbor, Mich., will start posting information about its quality and safety rankings online, according to an AnnArbor.com news report.

A number of quality indicators, including heart attack survival rates and patient satisfaction, will be posted on the health system’s website. The website will also include results from patient surveys at several health system facilities, including the University Hospital, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and outpatient clinics, and chart comparisons to national averages on heart, diabetes and cancer care.
