In the last two years, PinnacleHealth has had no ventilator-associated infections in its adult critical care units and has experienced a six percent decrease in readmission rates for patients discharged to skilled nursing facilities.
As part of the decade-old program, members of Highmark’s Blue Quality team work with hospitals’ quality teams to develop improvement programs and enhance quality improvement efforts.
