Ms. Melina joined Nuvance in 2018 and currently serves as assistant vice president of risk management. Ms. Melina was awarded for her work overseeing resident education and mentoring newer risk professionals at the system. She also helped create a serious safety event review team to reduce risk, according to a Sept. 14 news release.
Ms. Melina will be recognized for her efforts at ASHRM’s Annual Conference in October.
