In April, commissioners called for a closed-door meeting to hear details of the strategic plan after the health system’s chief strategy officer, Jeffrey Crudele, presented some information. After Tuesday’s meeting, Commissioner Sally Heyman said she was “satisfied” because Jackson provided the specifics of the strategic plan, according to the report.
The strategic plan was not released to the public, as state law allows public hospitals to not disclose strategic plans to the public, according to the report.
In March, Jackson made a profit of $6.2 million after several quarters of losses.
