According to authorities, the hospital worker brought cookies and muffins to Davis Regional Medical Center not knowing they were laced with cannabis oil. A family member of the worker made the baked goods, according to the report.

Six hospital workers were treated in the hospital’s emergency department after eating the treats. When police tested the baked goods, they found the snacks contained THC, the psychoactive compound in cannabis.

Prosecutors are not charging the hospital employee who brought in the cookies and muffins since the worker was unaware they were laced with drugs, according to the report.
