Mr. Valdespino succeeds Albert L. Greene, who passed away in Apr. 2009. He was chosen after “an intense and rigorous interview and selection process,” according to the release.
Mr. Valdespino has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare management, and he served as senior vice president of operations for Tenet Health Corp.’s Southern California region. He has also held several hospital CEO positions, and most recently, he was CEO at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County.
