Ms. Strider has served as interim chief nursing officer since July after the unexpected passing of Barbara Hocking, EdD, BSN, according to a Jan. 16 system news release.
In her role, Ms. Strider will lead clinical strategy for nursing operations across three hospitals: UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center, UVA Health Haymarket Medical Center and UVA Health Prince William Medical Center.
