Ms. Holdren served as the chief flight nurse and program director of the University of Chicago Aeromedical Network as well as president of the Air & Surface Transport Nurses Association, according to her obituary.
“To us all, Kelley paved the way for the current and future flight nurses here at the University of Chicago, and we will continue to honor her and abide by the legacy she has left behind with us,” the team posted on social media.
Ms. Holden, a resident of Dyer, Ind., is survived by her husband and two daughters.
