Anesthesiology Chief, Vice Chair Appointed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center

Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md., named Courtney Harris, MD, as chief of the anesthesia department and Alex Mah, MD, to vice chair of anesthesiology.

Dr. Harris has been the director of obstetric anesthesiology since 2009 and was named vice chair of the department by Sheridan Healthcare in 2011. He served an obstetric anesthesiology fellowship at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in St. Louis.

Dr. Mah has been practicing anesthesiology at Peninsula since 2006 and has been a staff anesthesiologist with Sheridan Healthcare since 2009. He completed an anesthesiology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
