Deborah Limmer, RN, went on an early morning walk near her home with her granddaughter Delaney Gaddis. About 7 a.m., a driver jumped the curb, striking the two pedestrians, according to the report.
Ms. Limmer was taken to the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, where she was pronounced dead. Delaney was taken to Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead.
Ms. Limmer worked at Siani hospital for nearly three decades.
“She was an integral part of LifeBridge Health and Sinai for over 28 years, so she had been with us for a long time. She was a cornerstone of our ICU, so our critical care area, cardiac and ICU,” Linda Josnik, CNO at Sinai Hospital, told WBAL.
