Nurse anesthetists are the top paid nursing position in 2024, according to Bureau of Labor Statistics data.
The bureau gathered employment data for five nursing positions in 2024, including the number of people employed in that position in the U.S., annual mean wage and hourly wage. The latest data was released April 2.
Here are the five nursing titles BLS tracks by annual mean wage:
