The American Organization for Nursing Leadership will award five nursing leaders, one hospital and one chapter at its annual conference March 29-April 1, in Chicago.
Here are the award recipients, according to a March 26 news release from the organization:
- Jeffrey Doucette, DNP, RN, senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Press Ganey, will receive the AONL Exemplary Leadership Award.
- Tiffany Burton, MSN, RN, director of nursing services for the Enterprise Resource Team at Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health, will receive the Pamela Austin Thompson Emerging Leader Award.
- Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital, part of Yale New Haven (Conn.) Health, will receive the AONL Prism Award.
- The North Carolina Organization of Nurse Leaders, Angier, will receive the AONL Chapter Achievement Award.
- Mark Lee, DNP, RN, and Sharon Pappas, PhD, RN, of Atlanta-based Emory Healthcare, and Ron Yolo, DNP, RN, of Chicago-based CommonSpirit Health, will receive the Nurse Leader Article of the Year Award for their article, “Engaging Nurses in Professional Governance Across a Hospital Service Line.”
