The award’s namesake was a philanthropist and the founder of Standard Register, a company that provides services and solutions to enhance patient engagement and care coordination.
The award itself recognizes projects that have resulted in safer care and improved outcomes by engaging patients and families. The winner will receive an all-expenses paid trip to Scottsdale, Ariz., to receive the honor at the NPSF’s 18th annual Patient Safety Congress.
