The tourists visited a Jehovah’s Witness facility in New York City April 15 before stopping at a second facility in suburban Tuxedo Park and Patterson, N.Y.
Measles symptoms include a fever, rash, cough, conjunctivitis or runny nose. Symptoms typically appear 10 to 12 days after exposure.
Health officials are advising potentially exposed individuals with measles symptoms to contact their healthcare provider, local clinic or emergency department before going for care to prevent disease spread.
