Richard A. Robison, PhD, professor of microbiology, immunology and bacterial pathogenesis at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, tested five silver products against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, giving each product two minutes of contact time with the bacteria.
An antimicrobial silver solution named Advanced Cellular Silver 200 killed MRSA at a rate of 99.99 percent and was 4,000 to 1 million times more effective than the four other silver products tested.
ACS 200 is an antimicrobial silver solution oral spray that is taken with antibiotics to boost the drug’s strength and kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria
ACS 200’s efficacy can be attributed to its formulation, which has uniquely energized silver molecules to kill deadly microorganisms such as MRSA in record time.
The breakthrough results could be very impactful to enhancing and extending the efficacy of antibiotics and preventing resistance.
