The journal will cover “research related to quality and safety in healthcare,” according to its website, covering global trends in areas like “patient safety, training and simulation, health economics, quality and process management, as well as critical incidents including possible solutions and the legal or regulatory aspects.”
The journal will be open-access and the authors hold the copyright to their work, according to a BioMed Central interview with Safety in Health’s editors-in-chief.
