Florida Hospital Fish Memorial names patient safety officer

Rhonda Battani has been named director of quality/patient safety officer at Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City.

Ms. Battani, who holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing, previously served as assistant administrator for quality management and performance improvement at Florida Health Care Plans.

Now, in her new role, Ms. Battani oversees hospital activities related to quality management, Joint Commission compliance, patient safety and infection control.
