North Kansas City (Mo.) Hospital has joined the Mayo Clinic Care Network, making it part of Mayo’s global network of independent health systems with special access to the clinic’s expertise.

The Mayo Clinic Care Network is a group of select organizations that receive special access to Mayo Clinic’s specialist teams and knowledge. Members go through review processes to prove commitment to offering evidence-based, high-quality care, according to an April 15 news release.

“The opportunity to have access to Mayo Clinic’s knowledge and to provide that knowledge to our patients locally, at no additional cost, is incredible,” Steven Starr, MD, CMO of North Kansas City Hospital, said in the release.

At the Becker's 11th Annual IT + Revenue Cycle Conference: The Future of AI & Digital Health, taking place September 14–17 in Chicago, healthcare executives and digital leaders from across the country will come together to explore how AI, interoperability, cybersecurity, and revenue cycle innovation are transforming care delivery, strengthening financial performance, and driving the next era of digital health.
