Leading global hand hygiene experts to publish handbook for hospitals

Come November, hospitals worldwide will have access to a single volume that contains the most cutting-edge knowledge the medical community has to offer about hand hygiene in medical settings.

The information contained in Hand Hygiene: A Handbook for Medical Professionals comes from world leaders in hand hygiene science, monitoring and compliance, according to European Cleaning Journal. The volume includes in-depth discussion on the World Health Organization's guidelines for hand hygiene as well as rundowns of a range of clinical applications and guidance, from basic to advanced.

The book also contains tips about launching hand hygiene programs in a variety of healthcare settings. It will be able through Wiley-Blackwell.
