According to a news release, the video encourages caregivers to:

  • Act in the patient’s best interest.
  • Remind the patient about instructions.
  • Help the patient make decisions.
  • Recognize changes in the patient’s condition.
  • Ask questions when the patient is unable to do so.
  • Offer the patient emotional support.
