Joint Commission, NQF seek Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Award nominations

The Joint Commission and the National Quality Forum are accepting nominations for the 2016 John M. Eisenberg Patient Safety and Quality Awards through Oct. 31.

Nominations will be accepted in three categories:

  • Individual achievement for people who have demonstrated leadership and scholarship in patient safety and healthcare quality
  • National-level innovation in patient safety and quality for projects or initiatives that involve successful system changes or interventions that made the healthcare environment safer or advocated on the patient’s behalf
  • Local-level innovation in patient safety and quality for projects or initiatives that made an impact on the local community, organization or statewide level.
