Dr. Zaafran has agreed to a two-year term and will be in charge of medical staff issues and quality monitoring at the hospital, according to the report. He currently practices with Greater Houston Anesthesiology.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Dr. Zaafran completed his residency in anesthesia and a mini fellowship in cardiovascular anesthesia at Memorial Hermann Texas Medical Center.
Dr. Zaafran is a member of the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and Texas Society of Anesthesiologists.
