South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center Opens Pediatric ER

South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland, N.J., announced the opening of its pediatric emergency department.

The eight-bed unit with specialized equipment and exam rooms is specifically designed for children. The medical center will partner with Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del., to provide enhanced emergency care for children.

The unit has can accommodate 50 to 90 patients a month, according to a South Jersey Times report.
