Katrina Crist. CEO of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Prevention.
As CEO of APIC, Ms. Crist oversees the collection and analysis of data to track trends in infection prevention and control programs and the role of the infection preventionist, public policy initiatives and delivery of education for healthcare personnel and the public about infectious diseases. Ms. Crist was also key in helping develop the APIC Strategic Plan 2020, “toward healthcare without infection.” Prior to joining APIC, Ms. Crist served as executive director with the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, which represents the interests of organ and cell transplant surgeons across the country.
