9 hospitals with the nation’s worst CAUTI rates

The following hospitals had the highest rates of catheter-associated urinary tract infections in the U.S., according to data from CMS’ Hospital Compare website.

All nine hospitals had a Catheter Associated Urinary Tract Infections score above 3.5, compared to the national average of 1. 

The figures are based on data collected from April 2018 through March 2019.
